Rookwood BioBlitz - 15th August

Some members of Horsham District Council believe that Rookwood is an ecological desert because it has been managed as a golf course. It is certainly the case that, until recently, few species had been formally recorded as living on Rookwood.

We are going to change that, hence our BioBlitz day on Saturday 15th August where we invite you to explore Rookwood and let us know what you find. We will have experts on hand to help find and identify the many birds, insects, flowers and trees that call Rookwood home.

To manage the event in a safe “Covid Secure“ way we ask that you book a free timed ticket so that we can avoid too many people arriving at one time.
