We are local people campaigning to keep Rookwood as green space.
Why are we doing this?
We believe that keeping Rookwood green will retain vital local resources for Horsham residents, protect wildlife on Warnham Nature Reserve from interference and predation and preserve ever diminishing green space for our children. We encourage Horsham District Council to do the “right” thing by protecting our natural capital at Rookwood rather than the “easy” thing of making a profit through a land-grab for high density housing.

What we want for Horsham
A town that is an attractive and healthy place to live, work, play and visit
A local nature recovery network through the Town that supports HDC’s and Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Wilder Horsham District initiative
A reputation as a town with connected and protected green spaces for future generations to enjoy
A town with a thriving, municipal golf course that supports the District, local residents and our Local Nature Reserve
A council we trust to protect community assets and which values natural capital
